A tangy yellow chutney made with an array of mixed vegetables, mustard and spices. The first known record of the name ‘piccalilli’ is by Mrs Raffald, who gave a recipe for making ‘Indian Pickle or Piccalillo’ that is very similar to modern ones in the 1700’s
Ingredients:
Onions, cauliflower, spirit vinegar, carrots, sugar, courgettes, green beans, cornflour, mustard, ginger, turmeric, colour: lutein
